Sarah Letheren MCSP
Chartered Physiotherapist

Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists
Sarah is a highly experienced physiotherapist with post-graduate qualifications in manipulation, sports medicine and acupuncture. She has extensive experience in pre/post op rehabilitation, neck and back pain, sports injuries and biomechanics. Her treatment is hands-on with the aim of pain reduction and the restoration of normal movement and function.
Sarah qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from West Middlesex Hospital School
of Physiotherapy in 1982. Following 6 years working in the NHS, she moved to a private hospital, predominately treating muscular-skeletal disorders, before starting her own private practice in
North-West London. Sarah ran her own successful clinic in Bushey Heath, on the outskirts of London, for 18 years. She relocated to the south coast in 2006 and started The Barn Physiotherapy
Clinic.
She is a keen sailor and enjoys walking with her two border collies.
Megan Stewart MCSP

Megan qualified with a 1st class honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford following a degree in Sports Therapy. She spent 7 years working within professional and national league rugby union and in the NHS, before moving into private practice.
Megan’s passion lies in helping patients fully achieve their activity goals by utilising her skills in exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy and acupuncture
When not climbing around a playground or soft play with her two children. Megan’s hobbies include CrossFit and running.

AACP Post-graduate acupuncture qualification
Sarah studied at the University of Northumbria to qualify as a physiotherapist in 2010, following on from a degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences.
She also has a Sports Massage Diploma, post graduate qualifications in manipulation, acupuncture, paediatrics and is a qualified Pilates Instructor.
Sarah is passionate about sports medicine and injury prevention, which she incorporates into her manual and exercise based treatments.
When she is not at the clinic she has worked for the GB Ladies Goalball Team and local school rugby teams.
Sarah has many sporting interests and enjoys swimming, cycling, triathlon, wake-boarding, softball and surfing in her leisure time.
Julie Ashton MCSP
Chartered Physiotherapist
Registered with the Health Care Professions Council
Julie has been working as a physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal problems since graduating from the Middlesex Hospital in 1985.
She has worked for the NHS and in the private sector. Over the years she has set up and run a modified pilates class for chronic back pain patients, a postnatal exercise class and a cardiac rehabilitation class. She spent many years working closely with GPs and treating their patients. She was also a union rep for the NHS and enjoyed helping staff locally and nationally.
Julie enjoys her work meeting and helping patients with diverse problems. She strives to help patients achieve their goal be it abolishing pain, returning to sport or being able to hug their grandchildren or improve their golf handicap!
Julie has worked continuously since 1985 apart from 3 years in Belgium with her family. She enjoys tennis, yoga and dancing. She is on the committee of the friends of Harry Sotnick’s care home.
Helen Smith
Clinic Administrator
Helen joined us in 2011. She arranges appointments for the clinic and looks after the general administration. She manages our accounts, liaises with the medical insurance companies and looks after out health & safety and clinic audits.
She will be very happy to answer any questions you have with regard to your treatment.
When she is not at work Helen is busy with her two children. She is a very keen gardener and enjoys walking.
Suzy Walker
Receptionist
Suzy arrages appointments and can help with any questions you may have about your appoinment o treatment.
When Suzy is not sitting behind our desk she is usually out running. Suzy runs our local "Couch to 5K" courses.
